Notes from the Nest..: Mrs. Pomeroy's (Gudiance)

A word from Mrs. Pomeroy:

What a blessing to enjoy a summer break but then return to see the familiar faces as well as the new faces who have joined our family at EHCS this fall! It is encouraging and motivating to know that each of us has a clean slate or fresh start this school year. In addition to being the Elementary and Middle School Guidance Counselor, I am teaching the Senior Ladies’ Bible class. This means that I will be in the High School each day from 7:15 until 9:00 a.m. If you come by to see me and I am not in my office, be sure to send me an email or call me. I will get back to you as soon as possible. It is my priority to be available to each student and family on a daily basis and I look forward to being a source of support for you all.

It is my intention to start the Middle School Girls club again in September. More to come on this subject…

I am also very excited to announce that we are still partnering with Agape to offer Christian counseling on site at EHCS on Mondays or at one of Agape’s satellite offices at a REDUCED fee for EH families. Robin Mace is a new face to EHCS but she has been with AGAPE since the spring of 2009. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University. Before coming to AGAPE, she worked with at-risk children and adolescents in schools and in the community for 7 years. While she loves working with a wide variety of clients, she especially enjoys working with kids and teenagers, their families, young adults, and women’s issues. I believe Robin will be a great resource for our families and we welcome her to our team!
