Notes from the Nest..: Teacher Feature

Pre-Kindergarten

                                                     Brandie Garland: I attended the University of TN, Knoxville,
                                                     where I obtained my Bachelors in Psychology. Several years later I
                                                     went back to school to receive my license as a LPN. I am married to
                                                     Robert "Joey" Garland for over six years and we have three
                                                     handsome little boys, AJ (6 years), Jordan (4 years), and Christian
                                                     (7 months). Both of our older boys attend EHCS. We are blessed
                                                     beyond belief and happy to be a part of the Ezell-Harding family!

Kelli Williams: "I am in my 11th year of teaching Pre-Kindergarten at Ezell-Harding Christian School. Teaching children is my passion and I am very blessed with each child that walks through my door!"

Shearon Sarver: "I am celebrating my 21st year of teaching at EHCS. When I'm not at school, I love long days on the lake with a good book and spending time with my seven grandchildren."

Kindergarten

Kaysha Sells: Hello, my name is Kaysha Sells. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my first year teach at Ezell-Harding Christian School.

Cindy Freudenthal: "I am blessed to work at the same school as my husband, Deron, and my in-laws. Deron and I have two daughters who are currently in the elementary school at EHCS!"

Cheryl Gee: "I have taught at Ezell-Harding for 14 years. I have been married to my husband, David Gee, for 31 years and we have been blessed with three children who have all attended EHCS!"

First Grade

Rachel Mitchell: "This is my 3rd year teaching at Ezell-Harding. My husband and I have a beautiful daughter, Braelyn, who is 18 months old. I attended Ezell-Harding as a student from K-12 grade.

Second Grade

Malinda Woody: "This is my 13th year at EHCS. It is a true blessing to work daily in a Christian environment. I am blessed to have an opportunity to work with Christians who are not only my colleagues, but also my dear friends. I am so fortunate to have two sons that also get to be a part of this environment. "

Debbie Frankum: "I have been teaching second grade at Ezell-Harding for 16 years. My son is a 2001 graduate, my oldest daughter is a 2005 graduate, and my youngest daughter is a 2008 graduate. We are truly an Ezell-Harding family!"

Third Grade

Teresa Grimes: "This is my 38th year here at Ezell-Harding!! I love teaching third graders, reading, watching Vandy basketball, and singing praise songs."

Paula Walters: "I have been at EHCS for 22 years - teaching K, 1st, and now 3rd grade. My three children graduated from EHCS!"

Fourth Grade

Emily Clevenger: "I have been teaching fourth grade at Ezell-Harding for 9 years. I love to watch my students grow and soar. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with all my friends."

Gretchen Jones: "This is my 12th year of teaching at Ezell-Harding. I started out teaching Pre-K before moving up to 4th grade. My very first EHCS students are now sophomores, and my first 4th graders are now seniors! My daughter is a recent EHCS graduate and my son is in high school. It is a blessing and a privilege to be a part of this wonderful school family."

Special Areas:

Cilla Speck (Computers) "This is my 23rd year teaching at Ezell-Harding. I am a parent as well to 3 graduates of Ezell-Harding...Go Eagles!"

Peggy Bebout: "This is my 26th year at Ezell-Harding. I have a daughter who graduated from ECHS in 1998. I love being the elementary librarian and helping students as they learn to read."

Lee Riley (P.E.) "I have worked at Ezell-Harding for 8 years. I am married and have one daughter named Reagan. I am a big Alabama Crimson Tide Fan!!"

Amy Leebrick (P.E): "I have worked at Ezell-Harding for almost two years. I have two children here. Madison, is in the 6th grade and Maddux, is in the 3rd grade. I love being apart of 'Team Ezell!'"

Laura Ice(Fine Arts Director)

I began my first year of teaching at Ezell-Harding Christian School in 1997. I love this school, our faculty, our students and their families. I am proud that our two oldest daughters are enrolled in EHCS. Darby is in the fourth grade and Ella is in the first. We are excited that next year our youngest daughter, Sara, will join us in the Pre-K program. We are an Ezell-Harding family.
