Before the Break...

Hello Parents,

Only one day until Spring Break! I know the students are very excited about the upcoming break. Don't forget it has been extended through Monday, March 26. So we will not see their bright smiles until Tuesday, March 27. There will be childcare available; please contact Lisa Phillips if you will need that service. I do hope you all have some wonderful family time together and get to relax in this warm spring weather!

Make-A-Wish Update:

As a school, we are so grateful for all those who have been participating in our efforts to raise money for our school-wide service project. The students looked awesome yesterday in their "backwards" clothes! So many of them were creative and even took it to the next level by walking backwards to a lot of places! It is our desire to make a child's wish come true. We have TWO dress-up days left. On March 28, I'm a looking forward to our "Back in the Day" dress-up opportunity(50s, hippies, 70s, 80s and so on)! If you want to just wear jeans and a T-shirt ,you may, but be sure to bring in your $2 to help our cause! THANK YOU!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts, and let you know that the things you do for Ezell-Harding do not go unnoticed.  You all are a necessary piece to this puzzle.  I appreciate your dedication and service, and I know our students and teachers do, too. This week has been amazing, and my words alone cannot express how thankful I am for our PTO and all the parents who helped out and got involved! You all ROCK!
**SPIRIT NIGHT TONIGHT @ CHICK-FIL-A in Smyrna (5-7 p.m.)

Our book drive, as you all know, was a huge success. We brought in over 3,000 books! The results are in from Book'em, and we placed 2nd overall. There were about 20 Nashville schools that participated, and I'm so proud of what we were able to accomplish by providing children with their own books!

Friday, we will have an assembly at 8:05 a.m. This will be a time set aside to celebrate our goal- busting box tops drive. All of our students helped us bring in over 20,000 box tops. Our third grade friends, who brought in the most, will get to pie me in the face 6 times. Fun times for everyone involved!
