Make-A-Wish
As you all know, our school is currently doing a service project for "Make-A-Wish". We are raising money in order to help grant the wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition. We hope by doing this, we can enrich that child's life with hope, strength, and joy. It's a wonderful opportunity for our students to have a hand in making that child's wish come true and giving them something that is ultimately priceless. Our elementary friends are helping with this by paying $2 to dress up. They can either dress up with the theme that goes with each date listed below, OR they can pay $2 to wear jeans and an Ezell T-shirt. Either way, they are helping us raise the money for our cause. Look for me, because I'll be dressing up each day.
The days are...
March 7: "Serious day" (The business side of education - suits, etc.)
March 14: "Backwards day"
March 28: "Back in the day" (Hippies, 70's, 80's dress)
April 4: "Western/farm day" (overalls, pig tails, painted freckles on faces, cowboys and cowgirls)
**We are trying to make a child's wish come true, and together with some "cool" dress up days, we can help make it happen!**

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART:
Envelopes will be going home with your child tomorrow, February 24. This year there is a new online feature which will make this proccess much easier. The website is www.heart.org/jump. Our jump day will be on March 9th, so be sure to read your information packet and get started. Next week, I will post our AMAZING PRIZES that our "top fundraisers" will receive and what will happen if we make our school goal!!

Tooth Fairy:
The tooth fairy visited the pre-K through 1st grade on Tuesday, February 22. She taught them how to brush and floss by dressing up several students as teeth and a tongue. See picture to the left, and you will find more under the "Eagle News" tab.

Upcoming Events:
February 23 = All parents are invited to hear Roger Dinwitty from Stars Nashville to talk about cyber and school bullying at 6:30 p.m. in the high school commons.

February 29th = School-wide "Make-A-Wish" T-shirt and jeans day (you do not pay $2 for this day, but if you would like a shirt, we are still selling them for $10. All money goes toward the project). If you do not have a "Make-A-Wish" T-shirt your child is to be in regular school uniform. Thank you all for participating and helping with our service project!

March 8th = Elementary Chorus will be leading us in Chapel
